BHA Education Consultants Adds ProACT™ To Its Career Advisory Services

BHA Education Consultants, LLC (BHA), a private college admissions career counseling firm, announces the expansion of its career advisory services to career transition and development for professional athletes. The service, officially called ProACT™, Professional Athlete Career Transition Program, helps professional athletes prepare for life after athletics through career transition/development and education as well as retired professional athletes who wish to improve their post career opportunities. The service primarily targets football, basketball and baseball professionals.

"It's a natural evolution of our education and career advisory services specifically for professional athletes," stated Dr. Paul Lowe, BHA's president and CEO. "Often the best a professional athlete can hope for is a 15-20 year career, and typically that means retiring when they are 35- or 40-years old. Sometimes their sports careers can end abruptly. The period between the end of an individual's athletic career and the beginining of a new profession outside of sports can be a difficult time. Professional athletes are disciplined, competitive, and accomplished people. We help athletes turn their on-field charisma, popularity, sports skills and abilities into off-field assets and post-athletic career passions and interests," said Dr. Lowe.
